The American business and employment-oriented App LinkedIn has rolled out a new feature called the ‘Event Ads’ which boosts the organic posts from within a brand’s page, announced by the company on Tuesday.
With these Ad products, the professional networking platform also announced the Custom Streaming integrations and Mobile Page Analytics.
The feature “Boosted” will post the brand’s posts to increase the reach directly from their LinkedIn page which will create a campaign in an ad account associated with the user’s page.
The company said in a Blogpost, “Starting today, you can easily “Boost” any high-performing organic post directly from your LinkedIn Page. With the click of a button and a few payment details, you can easily give your most engaging or time-sensitive content a little boost to quickly expand your audience reach. It’s as simple as it sounds, and the newest way to reach a broader audience without having to learn how to use any new marketing tools.”
While The Event Ads appears in the LinkedIn feed and highlights the important event details like date, time, and how to register.
If a user’s mutual connections have expressed the interest in attending, which will be shown as well.
LinkedIn is also launching an Event Analytics tool that provides event organizers with metrics such as attendee/visitor engagement with your Event posts, the total number of attendees, unique event visits, attendees’ top job functions, and viewer count at the zenith of a live stream.
