The makers of ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, starring Yash, have announced that the film’s much-awaited trailer will be unveiled on March 8 in Bengaluru, building anticipation around one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year.
The announcement has intensified excitement among fans, especially as the film marks Yash’s first major project after the blockbuster success of the ‘K.G.F’ franchise.
According to a UNI report, the promotional campaign for the film has been carefully planned, with the makers opting for a measured approach to publicity rather than widespread exposure. Each update related to the project has been released selectively, contributing to the growing curiosity and buzz surrounding the film.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, the film is expected to showcase Yash in a striking and intense new avatar. While the storyline remains under wraps, Toxic is being described as a stylish, high-octane action drama mounted on a grand scale, promising a fresh cinematic experience.
The intrigue surrounding the project increased significantly after its teaser garnered more than 200 million views within 24 hours of release. The teaser introduced Yash in a bold clean-shaven look as a character named ‘Ticket’, sparking widespread fan discussions and speculation, including theories about a possible dual role.
The film also features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles. The project has been written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas. It has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and other languages to reach a wider audience.
Produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.
With the trailer launch now scheduled in Bengaluru, anticipation continues to build as audiences await a high-voltage glimpse into the world of ‘Toxic’, setting the stage for what is expected to be a major cinematic event.
