The much-loved romantic comedy ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, is set to return to cinemas, nearly a decade after its original release.
The 2014 film, known for its quirky romance and light-hearted storytelling, will be re-released in theatres on March 6, offering audiences another chance to relive its charm on the big screen.
According to a UNI report, the film continues to hold a special place among fans of feel-good Bollywood entertainers. Announcing the development on Instagram, Dharma Productions shared the update, stating that the chemistry of its lead characters, Meeta and Nikhil, is returning to where it belongs — the theatres.
Directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar, the film received a warm response upon its original release for its unconventional love story and engaging performances. Apart from the lead pair, the movie also featured Adah Sharma, Manoj Joshi, Sharat Saxena, and Neena Kulkarni in pivotal roles, adding depth to the narrative.
Interestingly, the film saw renewed popularity last year when one of its quirky dialogues went viral on social media. A remix by music producer Pextyle sparked a reel trend across platforms, drawing widespread attention. Parineeti Chopra also joined the trend, sharing her own version and delighting fans.
With its upcoming theatrical return, ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ promises to bring back its signature blend of humour, romance, and nostalgia, inviting both longtime fans and new audiences to experience the film once again on the big screen.
