JioStar has appointed Amit Malhotra as Head of International Business, marking a key leadership move as the company sharpens its focus on expanding its global footprint. Malhotra joined the company this week and will be based in Singapore, where he will lead the organisation’s international growth strategy and support its ambition to emerge as a globally relevant entertainment company.
According to a report by The Economic Times, Malhotra will be responsible for shaping JioStar’s long-term vision for international markets, positioning them as strategic contributors to overall enterprise growth, and driving market-specific expansion initiatives. His role will focus on strengthening overseas presence through strategic partnerships, market launches and innovation across global territories.
In his new position, Malhotra will operate at the intersection of product development, market expansion and external partnerships, acting as both a strategic planner and operational leader. He will also oversee white-labelling opportunities and lead efforts to build high-impact ecosystem alliances aimed at delivering differentiated value to consumers across diverse international markets.
