Global and Indian media and entertainment leaders are set to come together for ‘Content India 2026’, a major industry platform that will bring together key stakeholders from across the content ecosystem to discuss emerging trends, business models and growth opportunities shaping the future of storytelling.
According to a press release, the three-day event will be held from March 16 to 18, 2026 at Taj Lands End, positioning itself at the centre of India’s commercial and creative capital. The forum comes at a time when India’s media and entertainment industry is witnessing rapid expansion, driven by rising OTT consumption, increasing regional content production, cross-border collaborations and growing investments.
Organised by Dish TV in partnership with C21Media, the event will convene senior decision-makers representing broadcasters, streaming platforms, film studios, production houses, distribution networks, technology providers, talent agencies and investment firms. Participants will deliberate on evolving creative trends, financing structures, technological advancements and monetisation strategies across the content value chain.
Positioned as a high-impact business forum rather than a conventional conference, Content India 2026 aims to enable meaningful dialogue, foster strategic alliances and drive transaction-led outcomes. The programme will feature keynote sessions, market-focused panel discussions, curated networking opportunities and private meetings designed to facilitate partnerships, commissioning conversations and co-production deals.
As India continues to emerge both as a major content exporter and a rapidly expanding consumer market, the upcoming edition will focus on unlocking new growth avenues across domestic and international markets. Industry observers note that India’s entertainment sector is expected to play an increasingly influential role in the global content economy, and the platform seeks to act as a catalyst for the next phase of industry growth across film, television, OTT, animation and digital media.
The organisers have announced an extensive line-up of industry leaders who will participate in the discussions. The confirmed speakers include Kevin Vaz, CEO – Entertainment at JioStar; Arjun Nohwar, Managing Director – India and South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery; Mukund Galgali, Deputy CEO and CFO at Zee Entertainment Enterprises; and Ashish Sehgal, CEO of Times Network.
Other prominent participants include Shilangi Mukherji, Director and Head of SVOD Business at Prime Video; Nitin Burman, Chief Revenue Officer at Balaji Telefilms; Deepak Dhar, Founder and Group CEO of Banijay Asia; Aradhana Bhola, Managing Director – India at Fremantle; and Deepak Segal, Chief Creative Officer at Applause Entertainment.
The speaker line-up also features Fiona Campbell, Interim Director of Unscripted TV at BBC Content; Frank Spotnitz, CEO and Founder of Big Light Productions; Steve Matthews, Head of Scripted Creative at Banijay Entertainment; and Kalpana Malviya, Founder of Rarefied Studios. The organisers said additional speakers and programme details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Commenting on the platform’s evolution, Manoj Dobhal, CEO and Executive Director of Dish TV India, said the initiative was conceived to provide a dedicated space where decision-makers could engage in purposeful discussions and build long-term partnerships. He noted that with India’s content ecosystem at a critical inflection point, the expanded three-day format seeks to enable strategic collaboration among creators, producers, platforms, distributors and investors.
The event will also offer exhibition and sponsorship opportunities for companies seeking visibility and direct engagement with industry leaders through curated sessions and on-ground activations, as the forum aims to strengthen India’s position in the evolving global content landscape.
