Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has announced a change in the release date of his upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’. The film will now arrive in cinemas on April 10, instead of its earlier scheduled release on May 15.
According to a PTI report, Akshay shared the update with fans on Saturday through an Instagram post, unveiling an announcement teaser along with the revised release date. The actor wrote, “‘Bhooth Bangla’ ka countdown rewind! 10 April… Milte hain theatres mein,” building excitement around the film’s theatrical outing.
‘Bhooth Bangla’ marks a much-anticipated reunion between Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan, who are collaborating again after a gap of 14 years. The duo has previously delivered several popular films together, particularly in the comedy genre, making this project one of the most awaited releases of the year.
Billed as a horror-comedy, the film is expected to blend humour with spooky elements, a space where both Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have found strong audience connect in the past. While further details about the cast and storyline remain under wraps, the revised release date has added to the buzz surrounding the film.
With ‘Bhooth Bangla’ now set for an April 10 theatrical release, fans can look forward to seeing Akshay Kumar return to a familiar genre under Priyadarshan’s direction on the big screen.
