Bollywood Veteran actor-director Neena Gupta’s autobiography “Sach Kahun Toh” is set to launch on June 14, publisher Penguin Random House India announced on Friday.
In a video shared on her social media accounts, the Badhaii Hoo actress shared that she wrote the book in 2020 during the lockdown, and it is available for pre-order now.
Neena said in the video, “I thought in these very difficult and gloomy times, when we are stuck at home, when we are sad, when we are anxious, maybe my book will help you tide some of the tough days.”
From her time at the National School of Drama (NSD) to moving to Bombay in the 80s and her single parenthood, the book will share Neena’s life story in the most “impenitent” manner.

The book glimpses the issues like casting couch, film industry politics, and also talks about what it takes for a young actor to survive without a godfather or guide.
The publisher also said, “ She details the big milestones in her life, her unconventional pregnancy and single parenthood, and successful second innings in the Bollywood which shows that Neena is a fighter.”
Neena’s autobiography “Sach Kahun Toh” will release on June 14.
