Veteran broadcaster Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network has formally adopted a new corporate identity, rechristening itself as Aqylon Nexus Limited after securing approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The change marks a significant moment for the company as it looks to reposition itself in a rapidly evolving media and entertainment landscape.
According to a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the MCA has approved the change of name with effect from January 23, 2026. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
Confirming the development, the company said the ministry cleared the transition from Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Limited to Aqylon Nexus Limited after completion of all statutory and regulatory formalities. The broadcaster has since initiated the process of updating its new name across official records, filings and statutory documents.
Aqylon Nexus added that it is working closely with concerned authorities and departments to ensure a smooth transition and complete alignment of its corporate identity across platforms. In line with Section 12 of the Companies Act, 2013, the MCA has directed the company to continue displaying its former name alongside the new one for a period of two years.
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Mumbai, the company has been a familiar name in India’s television and content ecosystem for over three decades. The rebranding is seen as part of a broader strategic repositioning, coming at a time when the media sector is witnessing consolidation, digital disruption and shifts in content consumption patterns.
While the legacy name will continue to exist in statutory references for the time being, the adoption of Aqylon Nexus signals a clear intent to turn the page and chart a new phase of growth and relevance in a changing industry.
