Pocket FM has expanded its content library with the launch of 36 exclusive Marvel audio story titles in India, marking a significant collaboration with Disney Publishing APAC. The partnership brings some of Marvel’s most iconic Super Heroes, including ‘Spider-Man’, The Avengers and Wolverine, to Indian audiences through immersive Hindi audio series designed for mobile-first, on-the-go listening.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the new slate features high-quality, multi-episode audio narratives that translate Marvel’s cinematic universe into a purely audio format. Each title unfolds across extended story arcs, aiming to deliver a rich, emotionally engaging experience that mirrors the scale and intensity of Marvel’s visual storytelling while adapting it for a growing audio-first audience in India.
Commenting on the collaboration, Veronica Cabalinan, VP – Publishing and Experiences, APAC, Disney Publishing, said Disney has always believed in the universal power of storytelling and its ability to travel across formats and geographies. She noted that Pocket FM is transforming listening into an almost cinematic experience, and expressed excitement about seeing Marvel’s Super Heroes inspire a new generation of fans in India through the strength of audio narratives.
The launch comes at a time when Indian listeners are increasingly gravitating towards imaginative worlds, from mythology-inspired tales and supernatural thrillers to dark fantasy sagas. Pocket FM has emerged as a leading platform for fantasy audio series, with the genre witnessing strong and consistent growth as audiences seek immersive storytelling that blends tradition, technology and creativity.
Rohan Nayak, Co-Founder and CEO of Pocket FM, said the platform’s cultural foundation is rooted in imagination and larger-than-life stories. He added that the collaboration with Disney allows Pocket FM to reimagine Marvel’s Super Heroes as serialized audio journeys that feel native, emotional and accessible to Indian listeners. According to Nayak, fantasy and superhero narratives remain among Pocket FM’s strongest genres, and this partnership ensures that premium fantasy entertainment becomes more inclusive and deeply relatable across the country.
With this launch, Pocket FM continues to strengthen its position in the audio entertainment space, while Disney extends the reach of Marvel’s universe into a format that resonates strongly with India’s rapidly growing base of digital audio consumers.
