Sagar Kadam has concluded his four-year stint with Sony Pictures Networks India, marking the end of a significant chapter in his professional journey with the broadcaster.
The development was shared through a LinkedIn post, where Kadam reflected on his time at the organisation, describing it as a period of meaningful learning and growth. He expressed gratitude to the leadership team for their guidance and support, and acknowledged the collaboration and trust of colleagues and partners he worked with during his tenure, adding that he is moving forward with appreciation and optimism.
At Sony Pictures Networks India, Kadam most recently served as Associate Vice President – Partnerships, Growth and Monetisation for the digital business at Sony LIV. In this role, he was responsible for driving subscription-led growth by building and managing strategic partnerships across a wide ecosystem. His remit included alliances with telecom operators, banks, internet service providers, connected device manufacturers, e-commerce platforms, fintech companies, wallets, as well as gifting and loyalty platforms, playing a key role in expanding the platform’s reach and monetisation capabilities.
Kadam joined SPNI in 2021 from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, where he worked on partnerships, growth and monetisation initiatives for ZEE5. Prior to that, he spent nearly nine years at Shemaroo Entertainment in business development roles, contributing to the company’s digital expansion and content distribution strategies.
Earlier in his career, Kadam also held positions at i-Free and Enable Mobile Technologies, where he handled content partnerships, strategic alliances and digital distribution. Over the years, his work has spanned multiple facets of the digital media and entertainment ecosystem, with a strong focus on partnerships and revenue growth.
With his departure from Sony Pictures Networks India, Kadam brings to a close a phase defined by scaling digital partnerships and subscription growth, as he looks ahead to the next chapter in his career.
