Zee Business has announced the sixth edition of the BSE Bull Run 2025, its flagship initiative that blends physical fitness with financial awareness under the theme of being ‘Healthy and Wealthy’.
The annual event, held in partnership with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), has steadily grown into a large community-driven platform that brings together investors, fitness enthusiasts and citizens from across the financial ecosystem.
The BSE Bull Run 2025 will be held on December 21, starting from 5 am onwards at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. This announcement was made as part of a formal event communication, underlining the continued collaboration between Zee Business and BSE to promote holistic well-being. The run will feature multiple categories, including 5 km and 10 km Fun Runs, along with a 10 km Elite Competition Run, designed to combine participation, competition and awareness in a single format.
This year’s edition has already seen record-breaking interest, with over 30,000 registrations, reflecting the growing resonance of the initiative. Building on its legacy, the Bull Run continues to emphasise the importance of physical fitness alongside financial discipline, encouraging participants to adopt a balanced, long-term approach to health and wealth creation.
Speaking on the occasion, Raktim Das, CEO, Zee Media Corporation, said, “India’s most sought-after run for markets is making a grand comeback, blending fitness, participation, and the ethos of value creation. The BSE Bull Run in partnership with Zee Business is making a spirited sprint in its 6th edition. Just like long-term investing, the run is about discipline over speed, consistency over shortcuts, and value created over time. Now in its 6th edition, the run mirrors the fundamentals of investing: long-term commitment, resilience through ups and downs, and steady compounding of effort. A fitting metaphor for how markets reward those who stay the course. Join us to celebrate Indian markets and the ever-growing community of retail investors who keep their faith in India’s fundamentals amid global headwinds.”
Anil Singhvi, Managing Editor, Zee Business, said the initiative reflects the channel’s belief that prosperity lies at the intersection of physical and financial well-being. “At Zee Business, we believe that true prosperity is built at the intersection of physical well-being and financial awareness. The BSE Bull Run, now in its 6th edition, is a powerful reflection of this philosophy. Through our partnership with BSE, we are proud to support a movement that goes beyond a marathon to inspire citizens to make informed financial choices while embracing a healthier lifestyle,” he said.
Highlighting the broader significance of the event, Sundararaman Ramamurthy, MD & CEO, BSE, said, “The BSE Bull Run has evolved into a national platform that unites market participants and citizens under a shared vision of prosperity and well-being. Our partnership with Zee Business reinforces our commitment to promoting financial literacy while inspiring fitness as a way of life. As more households across India embrace the thriving capital markets, the BSE Bull Run emerges as a flagship initiative, bringing communities together through the shared values of health, wealth, and financial empowerment.”
Over the years, the BSE Bull Run has established itself as one of the country’s most prominent platforms connecting citizens, investors, corporates and fitness communities through a shared focus on well-being. With participation expected from leaders across the financial ecosystem and other prominent voices, the 2025 edition is set to be a vibrant, community-led engagement celebrating discipline, resilience and long-term value creation.
