Shemaroo Josh has announced the world Television premiere of the Hindi-dubbed film ‘Unfiltered Naari’ on November 28, 2025.
The film is the adapted version of the Gujarati blockbuster ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate’, featuring Yash Soni in the lead alongside legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.
According to a ShemarooMe press release, the platform highlighted that the film brings a humorous, relatable and heartwarming take on an age-old question — What does a woman truly want? Blending comedy, warmth and slice-of-life storytelling, the film attempts to capture the emotional world of women through the eyes of a young man who suddenly finds himself able to hear their thoughts.
‘Unfiltered Naari’ follows Chintan, an ordinary young man surrounded by influential women in his life, who wakes up one day with the extraordinary ability to hear women’s inner thoughts. What initially feels like a magical gift quickly spirals into chaos as he discovers that understanding women isn’t about mind-reading but about truly listening. The film uses humour to explore relationships, gender dynamics and the layered emotional universe of women, encouraging viewers to celebrate rather than decode them.
Directed by Jay Bodas and produced by Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Yash Soni, Deeksha Joshi, Tarjanee Bhadla, Bhavini Jani, Kalpana Gagdekar, Chetan Daiya, Vaishakh Rathod, Deep Vaidya and Om Bhatt. The press note also emphasised that the project marks Amitabh Bachchan’s debut in Gujarati cinema — a highlight that contributed to its success during its theatrical run.
The film’s television release aims to bring its feel-good storytelling to households across India, expanding its reach beyond regional audiences. According to the statement, ‘Unfiltered Naari’ is more than just a light entertainer; it attempts to mirror everyday realities between men and women, portraying emotions, misunderstandings and the small but meaningful moments that define relationships.
As conversations around women’s voices and identities continue to gain momentum in the country, the film arrives at a time when its blend of humour, sensitivity and social reflection is expected to resonate widely. With its family-friendly narrative and relatable characters, the makers believe it will spark both laughter and thoughtful discussions in living rooms across India.
‘Unfiltered Naari’ premieres exclusively on Shemaroo Josh on November 28, 2025.
