Yash Raj Films’ much-anticipated action entertainer ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role, will now hit theatres on April 17, 2026. The film was earlier scheduled for release in December this year but has been postponed to ensure top-notch visual quality.
According to a PTI report, the production house announced that the film’s VFX work requires additional time to meet the studio’s high standards and deliver a visually spectacular experience to audiences. The makers emphasized that the decision was made in the interest of maintaining the scale and quality expected from a YRF production.
‘Alpha’ features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, with Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal parts. The film is said to showcase Alia and Sharvari as fierce warriors who go head-to-head against Bobby Deol in an intense face-off, blending action, drama, and high-octane visual storytelling.
Backed by Yash Raj Films, ‘Alpha’ has been generating significant buzz for bringing together some of Bollywood’s finest talents in an ambitious action-packed narrative.
