Actor and athlete Saiyami Kher has been announced as the official ambassador for Ironman India, marking a proud milestone in her journey as one of the few Indian celebrities to conquer one of the world’s toughest endurance challenges.
The announcement comes after Saiyami successfully completed the Ironman 70.3 triathlon twice in less than a year, establishing herself as a symbol of resilience, grit and discipline.
According to a PTI report, the actor, known for her performances in films such as ‘Ghoomer’, ‘Choked’, ‘Jaat’, and ‘8 A.M. Metro’, first completed the ‘Ironman 70.3’ in September 2024 and achieved the feat again in July 2025. This remarkable accomplishment makes her the only Indian actor to complete the Ironman 70.3 twice within such a short span, earning her the honour of being chosen as the face of Ironman India.
The Ironman 70.3, also known as the Half Ironman, is one of the most demanding endurance events in the world. Participants must cover a total of 70.3 miles (113 km), which includes a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycling course, and a 21.1 km run — all completed within a single day. The triathlon tests not just physical stamina but also mental fortitude, pushing athletes to the limits of endurance and self-belief.
Saiyami, who has often spoken about her passion for sports and fitness, has inspired many through her unwavering commitment to athletic excellence. Her association with Ironman India as the official ambassador aims to motivate more Indians to take up endurance sports and embrace a holistic approach to health and fitness.
