Asianet has announced the premiere of its new sitcom ‘Happy Couples’, which will go on air from September 29, 2025. The show will be telecast Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm.
According to a press release, the concept of ‘Happy Couples’ reflects contemporary social realities, where rising divorce rates often stem from minor conflicts and misunderstandings. The series seeks to highlight the importance of harmony, communication, and togetherness in relationships.
Instead of following a single storyline, the sitcom offers light-hearted anecdotes that emphasize the value of clarity and connection in married life.
The setting of the show, Anandhabhavanam in Mulankavu, captures the charm of rural village life, where traditions continue to thrive despite modern influences. Key incidents unfold across homes, tea shops, coconut groves, post offices, and familiar rustic pathways, creating a backdrop that blends humour and nostalgia.
With its mix of laughter, family bonds, and relatable life lessons, ‘Happy Couples’ promises a wholesome viewing experience for audiences.
