93.5 RED FM is bringing its much-loved Dugga Dugga Festival – Shakti Roopena Sansthita – to Delhi for the very first time. After three successful editions in Kolkata, the cultural extravaganza will make its capital debut on 20th September 2025 at the iconic Talkatora Stadium. The festival promises to immerse Delhiites in the grandeur of Durga Puja through music, theatre, art, food, and community spirit.
The Dugga Dugga Festival is designed as more than just a musical showcase. It is envisioned as a celebration where the essence of Pujo comes alive. From literature, theatre, art, and craft to the unmistakable flavours of Bengal, every corner of the event will echo the vibrancy of Bengal’s most cherished cultural tradition. Rooted in the spirit of Devi Pokkho, the festival stands as Red FM’s tribute to the power of Shakti and the timeless legacy of Durga Puja.
The Delhi edition promises an impressive lineup of artists. Audiences will experience the graceful performances of Dona Ganguly and her troupe, the soulful voice of Iman Chakraborty, the contemporary sounds of Anupam Roy Band, and the electrifying energy of Anjan Dutta with The Electric Band. Together, these acts will showcase Bengal’s rich musical traditions, blending classical, folk, and modern rhythms into one immersive experience.
Sharing her thoughts on the launch, Nisha Narayanan, Director & COO, RED FM and Magic FM, said, “At Red FM, embracing and celebrating diverse cultures has always been central to who we are and Dugga Dugga Festival is a vibrant reflection of this ethos, a heartfelt tribute to the richness of Bengal. This year, we bring a contemporary twist to tradition, where folk meets modern rhythms, classical ragas intertwine with spoken word, and the spirit of Pujo comes alive in every sound, step, and beat.”
She added that with its Delhi debut, the festival reinforces Red FM’s role as a cultural evangelist, bridging heritage with modernity and celebrating India’s diverse traditions. “The festival stands as a testament to how cultural celebrations are not just rituals, but living expressions of unity, joy, and resilience crafted to inspire and engage everyone, everywhere,” Narayanan noted.
The Dugga Dugga Festival also offers an array of experiences beyond music. Visitors can indulge in authentic Bengali cuisine, explore artisanal crafts, enjoy poetry and folk performances, and immerse themselves in the visual and cultural tapestry of Bengal. Every element has been thoughtfully curated to recreate the spirit of Pujo in Delhi, ensuring something for everyone, across all age groups.
By making its way to the capital, Dugga Dugga Festival promises to bring together devotion, artistry, and celebration, making it one of the most anticipated cultural events of the season.
