Eenadu Television (ETV Network) has completed 30 years of redefining infotainment and regional broadcasting, celebrating its journey from a single Telugu channel in 1995 to a diversified network of eight channels that cater to varied audience interests.
Founded with the launch of ETV Telugu in 1995, the network has grown into a trusted name in Indian television by delivering a mix of credible news, culturally rooted entertainment, and innovative formats. Over the decades, it has established a strong connect with millions of Telugu-speaking households across India and beyond.
From its flagship entertainment channel, the network gradually expanded to create a bouquet of specialized channels:
ETV Telugu – flagship channel with a blend of fiction and non-fiction entertainment.
ETV Andhra Pradesh and ETV Telangana – dedicated news channels.
ETV Plus – focused on variety entertainment.
ETV Abhiruchi – highlighting cookery and lifestyle.
ETV Life – spirituality and wellness content.
ETV Cinema – a 24×7 Telugu movie channel.
ETV Bal Bharat – a kids’ channel available in 11 Indian languages and English.
This diversified presence has positioned ETV as one of the most influential regional broadcasters in India.
The network’s 30th anniversary celebrations were attended by prominent figures from the film and entertainment industry, including Chiranjeevi, S. S. Rajamouli, K. Raghavendra Rao, M. M. Keeravani, Keerthy Suresh, Kushboo, Jayasudha, Murali Mohan, Allu Aravind, Rajendra Prasad, Nani, Shyam Prasad Reddy, and Brahmanandam.
Senior leadership from the Ramoji Group, which owns ETV, also marked the occasion. Among those present were Kiron, Chairman and Managing Director; Vijayeswari, Managing Director, Ramoji Film City; Sujay, Director, ETV; and K. Bapineedu, CEO, ETV Network.
