BBH India, part of Publicis Groupe India, has announced significant additions and elevations to its leadership team. The agency has appointed Delon Mascarenhas and Mitushi Sharma as Executive Vice Presidents, while Ashwin Palkar and Nisheeth Srivastava have been elevated to Senior Executive Creative Directors.
According to a press release, Mascarenhas and Sharma, in their new roles, will focus on driving strategic business expansion and building stronger client relationships. Both will report to Himanshu Saxena, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, BBH India. Meanwhile, Palkar and Srivastava will continue to strengthen the creative vision of the agency under the leadership of Parikshit Bhattaccharya, Chief Creative Officer.
The appointments come at a time when BBH India has been witnessing strong growth momentum. The agency has bagged new business wins, expanded existing partnerships, and earned creative accolades, including a Bronze Lion at Cannes Lions 2025 for its ‘Bassi Vs Garnier Men’s Facewash’ campaign. It was also ranked the No. 3 Creative Agency in India in the MMA SMARTIES Business Impact Index 2024.
Mascarenhas, who returns to BBH India, brings over 25 years of experience across brand strategy, digital, and content marketing. He previously served as Senior Vice President at DDB Mudra Group and has also led marketing at Tring, along with senior roles at Edelman India and Havas Life. Over the years, he has managed integrated mandates for leading brands such as McDonald’s, HUL, Red Bull, Meesho, Dream11, and Abbott.
Sharma, with over two decades in advertising, most recently held a senior leadership role at FCB Interface. Her portfolio includes building and managing brands across sectors such as beauty, auto, FMCG, BFSI, and pharma. She has worked with names like Nivea, Whirlpool, Mahindra, Skechers, Conagra Foods, and Torrent Pharma, while also leading Unilever brands like Lakme, Domex, and Ayush.
Commenting on the development, Saxena said, “Today, BBH has evolved from being a creative agency to a Creative Company designed to deliver full-funnel marketing effectiveness using creativity. The strengthening of the leadership team underscores our commitment to this belief. Both Delon and Mitushi have been handpicked for this strategic role of delivering the power of difference to our clients’ businesses.”
Expressing enthusiasm about rejoining BBH India, Mascarenhas said, “I’m excited to return at a pivotal moment in its growth journey as it invests in a leadership culture built for the future. I look forward to working alongside Paritosh, Himanshu, and the team to support brands in today’s evolving landscape.”
Sharma added, “Consumer behaviour and expectations are constantly evolving with technology. BBH India has always stood out for combining cultural insight, creativity, and strategy in a way that’s both fresh and effective. With strong leadership and a clear vision, I believe we are poised to push boundaries and fuel the next phase of growth.”
