On Thursday (29, April) MX Player original series ‘Ramyug’ trailer has been released on its official YouTube channel. Directed by the Hum Tum director Kunal Kohli.
The trailer shows a rewind of Lord Ram’s life starting as a prince of Ayodhya to his righteous rule of ‘Ram-Raj’. The story also includes highlights like Sita’s swayamvar, their vanvas, Raavan kidnapping Sita, Lord Hanuman’s dedication towards Ram, the creation of Ram Setu, the big battle between the two forces, and more.
Ramyug’s huge canvas and CGI, and the way the new versions of Ram, Lakshman, Hanuman, and Raavan indulge in gravity-defying stunts.
The show features Diganth Manchale, Akshay Dogra, Aishwarya Ojha, Kabir Duhan Singh, Vivan Bhatena, Navdeep Pallapolu, Anish John Kokken, Shishir Mohan Sharma, Jatin Sial, Shweta Gulati, Suparna Marwah, Mamta Verma, Tisca Chopra, Dalip Tahil, and Annup Sonii among others.
A music video of the show titled “Jai Hanuman”, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Ustad Zakir Hussain, was released on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
Ramyug will begin streaming on MX Player from May 6.
