NDTV has appointed senior journalist Sachin Singh as Executive Editor – Assignment. The announcement was made via an internal NDTV press note, warmly welcoming him to the newsroom and underlining the network’s renewed focus on editorial depth and leadership.
Sachin Singh, whose journalistic career spans over 17 years, brings with him a robust track record across some of India’s leading media houses including India Today Group, Times Now, NewsX, DD News, and Voice of India.
Known for his sharp editorial judgement and deep-rooted field experience, Singh has led multiple high-impact news assignments and has been instrumental in driving exclusive stories and large-scale reporting operations.
In his new role, Singh is expected to play a critical part in strengthening NDTV’s assignment desk, working closely with reporters, bureaus, and producers across platforms. His dynamic leadership is anticipated to steer coverage that’s timely, impactful, and deeply reported. “Sachin’s keen eye for news that matters will be a key pillar in elevating our editorial voice,” the note stated.
With this appointment, NDTV aims to further bolster its journalistic mission and continue delivering credible, high-quality news in an increasingly competitive media environment.
