Popular Apple TV+ drama series ‘The Morning Show’, headlined by Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, is set to make its much-awaited comeback this September. The critically-acclaimed series will return for its fourth season on September 17, the streamer has officially confirmed.
According to PTI, the 10-episode season will kick off globally with its premiere episode on September 17. New episodes will then release every Wednesday, with the finale scheduled to air on November 19.
Created by Jay Carson and developed by Kerry Ehrin, ‘The Morning Show’ dives deep into the high-stakes world of broadcast journalism, capturing the behind-the-scenes drama, power struggles, and personal battles of the people who deliver America’s news each morning. The show has earned praise for its sharp writing, layered characters, and unflinching look at the complexities of media ethics, gender politics, and corporate control.
Aniston and Witherspoon reprise their roles as network anchors navigating chaos within the newsroom and beyond, and both also serve as executive producers on the series. The show has received numerous accolades, including Emmy nominations and a Screen Actors Guild award for Aniston’s performance in the first season.
With the events of season three leaving viewers on a tense cliff-hanger, fans can expect season four to pick up right where it left off, delving even deeper into personal reckonings and industry upheavals. The streaming platform has not yet revealed additional details about the storyline or supporting cast, but early buzz suggests more surprises, new conflicts, and timely commentary on real-world media dynamics.
