Moneycontrol has once again emerged as the top business news destination in India, extending its lead over The Economic Times for the eighth consecutive month, according to the latest digital rankings released by Comscore for April 2025.
The platform, known for its comprehensive coverage of business, finance, and markets, has consistently outperformed its closest rival across all major digital metrics—unique visitors, page views, and time spent—cementing its leadership in India’s financial news space.
As per a press release was issued by Network18, Moneycontrol recorded 43.93 million unique visitors in April 2025, ahead of The Economic Times, which clocked 39.89 million unique visitors, based on Comscore India’s MMX data. The ranking includes data across desktop, mobile, app, and social media platforms.
Moneycontrol also maintained a commanding lead in terms of page views, clocking 298.76 million views during the month, nearly twice that of ET’s 159.33 million. The platform further dominated on time spent, with users engaging for a total of 347.19 million minutes, compared to 197 million minutes on The Economic Times.
The April 2025 performance reinforces Moneycontrol’s growing digital dominance and its ability to consistently engage India’s business readership through a multi-platform content strategy, timely news updates, expert opinions, and deep-dive financial analysis.
