JioStar Kids has launched its latest animated offering, ‘Bittu Bahanebaaz’, a light-hearted series designed to charm young audiences with its relatable humour and everyday mischief.
The show currently airs daily on Sonic at 12:30 pm, with repeat telecasts scheduled at 9 am and 7pm. For digital viewers, the series is also available for same-day streaming on JioHotstar.
According to a press note from the makers, ‘Bittu Bahanebaaz’ follows the escapades of a quick-witted 10-year-old boy, Bittu, who is famous for spinning clever and comical excuses to wriggle out of sticky situations. Each episode unfolds a slice-of-life story that blends imagination, playfulness, and the trials of childhood in a way that resonates with kids and parents alike.
Adding lyrical magic to the series is the show’s title track, written by celebrated poet and lyricist Gulzar. The music serves not just as an opening jingle but also as a tonal extension of Bittu’s cheeky spirit, setting the vibe for the mischievous yet heartwarming journey of its central character.
‘Bittu Bahanebaaz’ marks another significant addition to the expanding library of Indian-made animated content for children. It joins the ranks of popular titles like ‘Motu Patlu’, ‘Chikoo aur Bunty’, ‘Pinaki & Happy – The Bhoot Bandhus’, and ‘Rudra’, all of which have contributed to a vibrant homegrown cartoon ecosystem.
As Indian animation continues to evolve, ‘Bittu Bahanebaaz’ taps into storytelling that celebrates curiosity, imagination, and cultural relatability—cementing JioStar Kids’ position as a key player in the children’s content space.
