Over the past five years, the channel has successfully captured the hearts of over one crore viewers in Maharashtra, setting a benchmark in the Marathi entertainment landscape. This milestone is a testament to the channel’s unwavering commitment to quality content and innovation. In a competitive market, Shemaroo MarathiBana has not only launched original programs but has also spearheaded the revival of iconic TV shows and movies from various languages, dubbing them into Marathi to bring the magic of global cinema into the local context.
The channel has introduced Marathi audiences to timeless classics such as ‘Ramayan’, ‘Shree Krishna’, ‘Punyashlok Ahilyabai’, ‘Pavanputra Hanuman’, and ‘Sai Majhe Taranhar’, along with the immensely popular crime series ‘CID’ dubbed in Marathi.
In a bold move that further elevated the cinematic experience at home, Shemaroo MarathiBana brought the world television premieres of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ in Marathi.
