Zee Telugu is set to honour National Mathematics Day with the world television premiere of ‘35 Chinna Katha Kaadu’ on December 22. The special telecast pays tribute to the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, celebrating his extraordinary contributions and inspiring viewers to embrace the beauty of mathematics.
Directed by Nanda Kishore Emani, ‘35 Chinna Katha Kaadu’ follows the story of Saraswathi (played by Nivetha Thomas), a content middle-class woman living peacefully with her husband Satya Prasad (Vishwadev Rachakonda) and their two sons, Arun (Arundev Pothula) and Varun (Abhay Shankar).
The plot takes a turn when young Arun struggles with mathematics, posing unusual questions about the subject. His strict Maths teacher, Chanakya Varma (played by Priyadarshi), frustrated by Arun’s poor performance, labels him a ‘zero.’ But what lies behind Arun’s curiosity? Will Chanakya help Arun discover his potential and rekindle his passion for numbers?
With Nivetha Thomas, Priyadarshi, Vishwadev Rachakonda and Gautami playing key roles, the film masterfully intertwines mathematics with an emotionally engaging narrative. The film promises to captivate audiences with its heartwarming story and relatable characters.
