Veteran Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore is set to make a grand comeback to cinemas with her latest film ‘Outhouse’, scheduled for release on December 20.
This heartwarming family drama promises to deliver a touching narrative filled with emotions, trust, and transformative connections.
Sharing the screen with Tagore is renowned actor Mohan Agashe, who not only co-stars but also produces the film. Directed by Sunil Sukthankar, ‘Outhouse’ features a stellar cast, including Sonali Kulkarni, Neeraj Kabi, and Sunil Abhayankar, adding depth and diversity to the storytelling, PTI reported.
According to Agashe, the film celebrates the unexpected bonds formed across generations, underscoring the transformative power of empathy and companionship. He described ‘Outhouse’ as “a wholesome family entertainer that will brighten up the festive season with its heartfelt moments.”
For Tagore, this film marks another milestone in her illustrious career. Directed by Rahul V Chittella, it also starred Manoj Bajpayee and Simran and explored intricate family dynamics. Before that, Tagore was last seen on the big screen in 2010’s ‘Break Ke Baad’ alongside Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan.
