Tamil superstar Dhanush has announced the release date of his next directorial venture, Idli Kadai, which is slated to hit theaters worldwide on April 10, 2025.

This film will mark his fourth time in the director’s chair, following his critically acclaimed ‘Pa Paandi’ (2017) and the recently released ‘Raayan’. Currently, he is completing work on ‘Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam’, his third directorial project.

Taking to social media with the announcement, Dhanush shared, “#idlikadai release announcement. In Cinemas Worldwide 10th April 2025.” The film is being produced by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures, along with Dhanush’s own production company, Wunderbar Films.

‘Idli Kadai’ will feature music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, who has delivered hit soundtracks for films like ‘Asuran’ and ‘Soorarai Pottru’. This collaboration has fans excited to see how Kumar’s music will enhance Dhanush’s vision for ‘Idli Kadai’.

As an actor, Dhanush has an exciting slate ahead, with roles in Kubera and an upcoming biographical film based on the life of legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja. The April release of ‘Idli Kadai’ is eagerly anticipated, promising to bring Dhanush’s unique storytelling style back to the big screen.
