ABP Network has secured a strong position in the YouTube Video on Demand (VOD) market, maintaining the #2 spot in rankings for eight consecutive weeks.
The network’s channels, ABP News, ABP Asmita, and ABP Ananda, dominated viewership on October 8, 2024, particularly on the vote counting day for the Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir elections, the news network said in a press statement.
According to Data Beings, during the crucial early hours of vote counting, ABP channels outperformed competitors across the Hindi, Bengali, and Gujarati markets in both VOD and live stream viewership.
- ABP News led the Hindi news category with a 25 percent market share for live streams, registering 1.5x higher viewership than its nearest competitor, Aaj Tak.

- ABP Ananda dominated the Bengali news category with a 43 percent market share on VODs, leading against News18 Bangla and TV9 Bangla.

- ABP Asmita claimed the top spot in Gujarati news with 38 percent market share, surpassing rivals News18 Gujarati and TV9 Gujarati.

ABP’s continued dominance in VOD viewership solidifies its leadership across multiple regional markets, maintaining a steady presence in weekly rankings.
