GTPL Hathway Limited, India’s largest Digital Cable TV Service Provider and a leading Broadband Service provider, has announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 30, 2024. The company reported notable growth in revenue and subscriber base, reflecting its robust market position and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Financial Highlights
For the second quarter of FY25, GTPL Hathway achieved:
- Total Revenue: ₹8,620 million, marking a 9 percent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth.
- EBITDA: ₹1,138 million, with an EBITDA margin of 13.2 percent and an operating EBITDA margin of 22 percent.
- Profit After Tax: ₹129 million.

Digital Cable TV
- Active Subscribers: 9.50 million as of September 30, 2024, with a Y-o-Y increase of 100,000.
- Paying Subscribers: 8.80 million, reflecting a Y-o-Y growth of 100,000.
- Launched a revamped website (www.gtpl.net) featuring a minimalistic and user-friendly UI.
- Introduced the “GTPL Buzz” customer application with new features, including TV Everywhere and Cloud Gaming.
Broadband
- Broadband Subscribers: Increased by 50,000 Y-o-Y, reaching 1,040,000.
- Homepass: As of September 30, 2024, stood at 5.95 million, with 400,000 additions Y-o-Y; 75 percent of which is available for FTTX conversion.
- Average Revenue Per User (ARPU): ₹460 per month per subscriber.
- Average Data Consumption: 350 GB per user per month, reflecting a 13 percent Y-o-Y increase.
Anirudhsinh Jadeja, Managing Director of GTPL Hathway Limited, commented on the results, stating, “GTPL maintains its stronghold as the largest Multi-System Operator (MSO) in India, committed to meeting all entertainment and connectivity needs of our valued customers. He further elaborated on the recent launches: “The GTPL Buzz app and the revamped website are designed for a consistent user experience and seamless interaction across platforms and devices. With services including ‘TV Everywhere’, ‘Blacknut Cloud Gaming’, and ‘Distro TV’, alongside our AI-enabled chatbot ‘GIVA’, we aim to deliver exceptional value.”
Jadeja also highlighted the healthy subscriber growth in the broadband sector, propelled by direct customer additions and strategic partnerships. He concluded, “We look forward to continuing to deliver value to our subscribers and stakeholders through organic growth and industry consolidation.”
