Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) has announced the appointment of Shiva Chinnasamy as Chief Technology and Product Officer effective from September 2.

Chinnasamy will operate from the company’s Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) in Bengaluru, reporting to Amit Goenka, President of Digital Business, International Linear Business, Enterprise Technology, and Broadcast Operations and Engineering, The Economic Times has reported.

In his new role, Chinnasamy will oversee TIC’s initiatives in Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance consumer experiences and support ZEE’s growth objectives across its core business areas.

On the appointment, Goenka said, “As we advance our strategic goals to drive significant growth, we are implementing measures to boost our business capabilities. Technology is pivotal in enriching the customer experience across our platforms. The TIC is focused on deepening our understanding of our diverse audience to deliver successful outcomes. Shiva’s extensive industry expertise and technological acumen will be crucial in developing the capabilities needed for our next growth phase.”
