Actor Tovino Thomas has unveiled his latest project, ‘Avaran,’ directed by debutant Shilpa Alexander. The announcement was made via social media, where Thomas shared a motion poster of the film.

The screenplay for ‘Avaran’ is written by Benny P Nayarambalam, known for scripting popular films like ‘Junior Mandrake,’ ‘Kalyanaraman,’ ‘Kunjikoonan,’ and ‘Marykkundoru Kunjadu.’ The film is produced by Jinu V Abraham under the banner Jiinu Abraham Innovation, PTI reported.

In his Instagram post, Tovino expressed his excitement, stating, “Thrilled to announce one of my next films ‘Avaran’ helmed by Shilpa Alexander and scripted by the veteran Benny P Nayarambalam. Jinu Abraham will bankroll the project under the banner Jiinu Abraham Innovation. A big thank you!! to our Mammooka, Lalettan, Rajuettan, and Manju Chechi for sharing our announcement wholeheartedly.”

The film’s crew includes Jomon T John as the cinematographer, Shameer Muhammed as the editor, and Jakes Bejoy composing the music. Other crew members include Ronex Xavier (makeup), Divya Jinu (co-producer), Suraj Kumar (executive producer), Arvind Menon (sound mixing), Rohit K Suresh (stills), Ident Labs (motion poster), Thought Station (design), Anoop Sundaran (digital marketing), and Sabari (PRO).

While details regarding the rest of the cast remain under wraps, Tovino Thomas is set to appear in other upcoming projects, including Jithin Laal’s ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam,’ Akhil Paul and Anas Khan’s ‘Identity,’ and Saiju Sreedharan’s ‘Mumpe.’
