News18 Network, India’s largest integrated news network, has made significant leadership changes with the appointment of Mitul Sangani as CEO–Indian Languages and Munish Atrey as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Indian Languages.
In his new role as CEO–Indian Languages, Mitul Sangani will take on the responsibility for overseeing all News18 television channels and digital properties in Hindi and regional languages.
This includes a diverse portfolio of channels such as News18 India, News18 Rajasthan, News18 MP/Chhattisgarh, News18 Bihar Jharkhand, News18 UP/Uttarakhand, News18 Punjab/Haryana, News18 Bangla, News18 Gujarati, News18 Kannada, News18 Tamil Nadu, News18 Telugu, News18 Odia, News18 Assam/NE, News18 Lokmat, News18 Kerala, and News18 Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Himachal.
The network’s decision to entrust Mitul Sangani with this expanded role reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership abilities and strategic vision. Sangani will continue to report to Avinash Kaul, CEO – Network18 (Broadcast), and Puneet Singhvi, CEO – Digital & President – Corporate Strategy at Network18.
Simultaneously, Munish Atrey, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in media sales, has been appointed as the Chief Revenue Officer – Indian Languages. Atrey’s extensive experience in leading media organizations positions him well to drive revenue strategies for both Hindi and regional language clusters. In his capacity as CRO, Atrey will report to Mitul Sangani.
Presently, News18 Network operates 16 TV channels in 13 languages, making it the largest integrated news network in the country. These strategic leadership appointments underline the network’s commitment to strengthening its position in the Indian languages market, ensuring comprehensive and dynamic coverage across regions.
