In a strategic move aimed at recognizing and leveraging the wealth of experience within its ranks, T-Series, the renowned Super Cassettes Industries Pvt. Ltd., has announced the appointment of Neeraj Kalyan and Shiv Chanana as Directors on its Board.
Neeraj Kalyan, a seasoned industry veteran with 27 years of experience, has been elevated to the position of “President and Executive Director.”
Kalyan, currently serving as President, is credited with an in-depth understanding of the digital landscape in the music and film industry. In his expanded role, he will spearhead business development, licensing of music catalog, and the distribution of films produced or co-produced by T-Series across various digital platforms.
His leadership skills, combined with legal-commercial-marketing strengths, will be instrumental in managing music publishing revenue, fostering global collaborations, shaping corporate growth strategy, and ensuring legal strategies for copyright protection.
Meanwhile, Shiv Chanana, designated as “Executive Vice President & Executive Director,” will continue to oversee the acquisition of all forms of content, including music rights. With a proven track record in navigating challenges in the film industry, Chanana’s strategic insights will guide decision-making processes and enhance project success.
His role extends to playing a pivotal part in the production and distribution of films and OTT content, along with handling liaison and relationship management within the film industry. Additionally, he will manage the licensing of films produced or co-produced by T-Series for satellite broadcast.
Both Neeraj Kalyan and Shiv Chanana will serve as representatives of T-Series at various industry forums, contributing to business growth, and engaging in deal negotiations within their respective domains on behalf of the company.
