Colors Kannada continues its tradition of delivering captivating content with the announcement of its latest family drama, ‘Shree Gowri’, which premieres on January 29 at 8.30 pm.
Prashanth Nayak, Business Head, Colors Kannada, expressed confidence in the uniqueness of the narrative, set against the breathtaking coastal landscape of Karnataka.
The story revolves around two individuals, Shree Gowri and Appu, from different worlds whose lives intersect in a tale filled with emotions, deep bonds, and sacrifices.
Shree Gowri, dealing with undisclosed ailments, resides in a secluded coastal village. Her father faces the challenge of finding her a suitable match while keeping her health issues a secret. Appu, a dynamic youth and sole breadwinner for his joint family, navigates various obstacles, driven by his unwavering love for his aged mother.
The series introduces the exhilarating Kambala race, an annual buffalo race, into the storyline, showcasing Colors Kannada‘s commitment to fresh and captivating content.
The ensemble cast includes Amulya Gowda, Karthik Atthavara, Sunil Puranik, Nadini Gowda, Gayathri Prabhakar, and Sanjay Suri, promising an epic roller coaster ride of emotions, love, sacrifice, and bonding.
