The much-anticipated trailer launch of the film ‘Animal‘ brought director Sandeep Reddy Vanga to New Delhi, where he showered high praise upon lead actor Ranbir Kapoor.
Vanga, known for his directorial prowess, lauded Kapoor’s exceptional talent, drawing comparisons that set him apart in the world of acting.
Describing Ranbir Kapoor as a remarkable actor in a league of his own, Vanga expressed, ‘Ranbir is a great actor, he is in a different league altogether.
He is very original. I feel he is a mix of so many actors, it is wrong to compare him to other actors, (But) I feel he is a mix of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Kamal Haasan. This man (Ranbir) has no limitation.’
Highlighting Kapoor’s versatility, Vanga elaborated on the actor’s demeanor off-screen, stating, ‘He doesn’t get angry like his character (in the film). He is a very calm person. I remember when I used to write rageful scenes, I would ask him so many times, ‘Ranbir, when do you get angry?’ He would say, ‘I don’t get angry, and Sandeep this is the 7th or 9th time you are asking me this’.’
Vanga revealed that he was introduced to Ranbir’s talent through the Imtiaz Ali film, ‘Rockstar.’
‘Animal,’ which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna, is slated for release on December 1 in cinemas. The film is set to hit theaters alongside ‘Sam Bahadur,’ starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.”
The story encapsulates Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s admiration for Ranbir Kapoor’s acting prowess and provides key details about the film’s release alongside its cast.
