Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced an extension of the deadline for the submission of comments and counter-comments regarding the ‘Regulation on Rating Framework for Digital Connectivity in Buildings or Areas.’
The original Consultation Paper on this crucial regulatory framework was released by TRAI on September 27, 2023, opening the door for feedback and suggestions from various stakeholders.
Initially, the deadline for submitting comments was set for November 10, 2023, with counter-comments due by November 24, 2023.
In response to numerous requests from stakeholders and industry associations for an extension of the comment submission deadline, TRAI has decided to grant an additional four weeks. This means that stakeholders will now have until December 8, 2023, to submit their comments, and counter-comments can be submitted until December 22, 2023.
The extension of the deadline is expected to provide ample time for all concerned parties to thoroughly assess the Consultation Paper and contribute their valuable insights to the regulatory framework on digital connectivity in buildings and areas.
The extended deadline underscores TRAI’s commitment to ensuring that all voices are heard in the development of regulations that will shape the future of digital connectivity in buildings and areas across India.
Stakeholders are encouraged to take full advantage of this extended timeline to provide their valuable feedback and insights.
