Artifact, Instagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger’s AI-powered news app, has introduced a new feature that allows users to follow specific writers, making it an even more news-focused social networking app.
According to IANS, content from selected writers will be prioritised in readers’ feeds, and they will be notified when those writers update.
Writers can now claim a verified checkmark next to their name in Artefact searches and comments.
Furthermore, writers can receive notifications about how many people read their pieces on the app as well as when other newspapers link to their work.
Furthermore, while many individuals utilise sites such as Twitter to discuss current events, the platform has lost its attraction, according to the survey.
Artifact, on the other hand, is emerging as a more engaging platform for news junkies to communicate with one another and discuss current events.
Instagram co-founders developed ‘Artefact’ in February, which is also known as a text-based version of TikTok that employs machine learning to determine users’ interests.
The name Artefact is a combination of articles, facts, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
