Star Vijay is set to launch its most popular Tamil oratory talent show titled ‘Tamizh Pechu Engal Moochu’ (TPEM – Tamil speech is our breath).
The show will premiere on April 16, 2023, on the occasion of the Tamil New Year.
The show’s goal is to determine the best Tamil orator in the state of Tamil Nadu.
During the presentation, they would go through multiple rounds of narrative narration, poetry recital, debate, and elocution. Tamil Nadu’s top Tamil orator.
He or she will also receive Rs 5 lakh in prize money.
The jury panel would include notable Tamil scholars such as Dr. G. Gnanasambandam and Parveen Sultana, as well as other renowned Tamil scholars and orators. The show will be hosted by Erode Magesh and BiggBoss star Anitha Sampath.
Celebrities and political leaders have praised and acknowledged the show, including TN Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Padmashree Kamal Hassan, Thol Thirumavalavan, Anbumani Ramadoss, Vaiko, Jayamohan – writer, Nanjil Sampath, A. Muthulingam, Lyricist Madan Karki, and others. Dr. Tamilisai Soundarrajan, the Governor of Telangana, will appear as a special guest on the first episode of the show.
Tamizh Pechu Engal Moochu will premiere on Star Vijay on April 16, 2023 at 11.30 a.m.
