PVR INOX, India’s largest movie theater chain, has announced a new program in which it will broadcast trailers for ten handpicked upcoming films on the big screen. Through this program, the corporation hopes to increase foot traffic.
Trailers for future Bollywood, Hollywood, and regional films will be shown throughout the 30-minute showing. From April 7, the show will be shown in PVR and INOX multiplexes across the country.
According to the Economic Times, the trailer screening show will provide a great opportunity for moviegoers to stay up to current on the latest entertainment news.
PVR INOX Co-CEO Gautam Dutta commented on the new show’s introduction, saying, “With the launch of our 30-minute Trailer Screening Show, we intend to present our fans with a short, power-packed snackable entertainment offering on the big screen at a price as low as Re. 1.
“This first-of-its-kind content offering is for every cinephile who wants to sit comfortably and binge on delicious snacks while watching a quick screening of their favorite upcoming movie trailers.” Furthermore, it is not prohibitively expensive. We invite moviegoers from across the country to enjoy this out-of-the-ordinary cinema experience.”
The Trailer Screening Show is currently playing in all major cinemas during prime time intervals. Tickets for the performance can be bought.
