TV9 Network’s regional stations secure leadership positions as the only language-differentiated news network, with TV9 Marathi having a market share of 34.4 percent, TV9 Kannada having a market share of 29.0 percent, and the national Hindi news channel TV9 Bharatvarsh having a market share of 13.6 percent.
TV9 Network has maintained and strengthened its dominance over rival news networks, with a 26 percent edge over Network18 Group and a 107 percent lead over TV Today Network in the most recent week.
According to BARC Data, TV9 Network hit a stunning 207 mn AMA in the 13th week of 2023, consolidating its place at the top of the leadership table.
In comparison, Network18 Group recorded 164.3 mn AMA, TV Today Network 99.8 mn AMA, and ABP Network 98.9 mn AMA.
TV9 Network has the largest market share in the Hindi news area.
TV9 Network has maintained its supremacy in the Hindi news category, with TV9 Bharatvarsh reigning supreme during prime time. (2000-2100 hrs).
Overall, TV9 Bharatvarsh held a 13.6 percent market share, outperforming traditional brands such as Aaj Tak (-13.2 percent) and ABP News (6.9 percent).
