Asad Ayaz has been named The Walt Disney Company’s first Chief Brand Officer, starting immediately, according to Chief Executive Officer Robert A. Iger.
Ayaz will be responsible for stewarding and elevating the Disney brand globally throughout the whole ecosystem of corporate touchpoints and consumer interactions in this newly created post reporting to Iger.
Ayaz will also continue as The Walt Disney Studios’ President of Marketing, handling all areas of marketing and publicity for the Studios’ films and shows, as well as Disney+ globally, reporting to Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Alan Bergman.

He will determine corporate synergy and franchise goals in cooperation with the CEO, as well as head a worldwide consumer research and analytics division centered on Disney’s brands and franchises, which will inspire actionable cross-platform efforts.
