On iOS, Meta-owned WhatsApp is working on a new feature called ‘edit message’, which will be available in a future app version.
According to IANS, this functionality will allow users to swiftly and easily amend their mistakes in a message without having to send extra messages.
Furthermore, it will improve user communication by providing a mechanism for users to guarantee that their messages are clear, succinct, and error-free.
Furthermore, the report indicated that texts can be updated in 15 minutes and will be labeled ‘edited’ within the message bubble.
The ability to edit messages is currently in the works.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp has established an official chat on the platform where users can get the most up-to-date information about the app, including updates and how-to guides for iOS and Android.
