This Republic Day, one of India’s top journalists, Palki Sharma, will host a new show on Firstpost.com and its YouTube channel.
The show, dubbed ‘Vantage,’ will be a first in many ways. This will be the first time audiences will be exposed to global stories and geopolitical developments from an Indian perspective, which is currently lacking in the media landscape.
‘Vantage’ will also be the first digital-first show hosted by a top TV news personality.
The show will also highlight India’s perspective on the world for global audiences.
‘Vantage,’ spearheaded, curated, and hosted by Palki Sharma, promises well-researched and unbiased insights into global events with the potential to impact human lives.
“While many international news outlets cover India, they tend to see events through their editorial lens. They rarely tell the whole story, let alone the story from India’s point of view. It is critical for us as a country to be heard internationally, with detailed reporting on issues that are important to us, and I will do my best to deliver that,” said Palki Sharma, Managing Editor of Firstpost.
Putting nuance over the news, ‘Vantage’ will truthfully provide viewers with facts, analysis, and context, addressing the global need for educative and informative content.
‘Vantage’ will air on weekdays at 9 p.m. on Firstpost.com and its YouTube channel.
Firstpost.com, a subsidiary of Network18, provides incisive opinions, in-depth analysis, and perspectives that matter. It aspires to be a reliable guide through the deluge of news and ideas that surrounds you.
The show will also air on CNN-News18 at 10 p.m. on weekdays.
