Colors Tamil, Viacom18‘s Tamil Entertainment channel, will bring the World Television Premiere of Bhamakalapam to screens this Sunday, January 1, 2023, adding to the New Year festivities and kicking off 2023 on a grand scale.
The riveting comedy crime thriller, starring Actor Priyamani, will bring a mix of hilarity and thrill for viewers to enjoy their weekend. Bhamakalapam will air on Sunday, January 1st, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., with special partners Sree Kumaran Thanga Maligaiyin Bangle Mela. Abhimanyu Tadimeti wrote and directed the film, which stars John Vijay, Shanthi Rao, Sharanya Pradeep, and Kishore in supporting roles.
Beginning with a heist of an ancient Faberge Egg, the film moves on to the life of Anupama Mohan (Actor Priyamani), a nosy housewife who is a chatterbox, loves to gossip and spends her day filming cooking videos for YouTube.
She soon discovers a dead body and is drawn into a world of smuggling and murders by an underworld don named Nayar (Actor John Vijay). She is implicated in the murder and is ordered by Nayar to retrieve the stolen Faberge Egg. The rest of the plot revolves around Anupama escaping from the clutches of Nayar and the cops and proving her innocence to the police.
