Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has announced its Diwali programming line-up across its kids’ entertainment channels — Cartoon Network, POGO and Discovery Kids.
Kickstarting the festive celebrations from October 22, the channels will offer viewers new episodes and movies featuring popular animated characters ‘Little Singham’, ‘Teen Titans Go!’, ‘Chhota Bheem’, ‘Titoo, and Ekans’ throughout the week in multiple regional languages.
The festivities begin with ‘Diwali Cinema Wali’ on POGO, featuring movies from popular homegrown shows — ‘Ekans: Snakes Awake!’, ‘Titoo – Har Jawaab Ka Sawaal Hu’ and ‘Chhota Bheem’ — every day at 12.30 pm throughout Diwali week.
Additionally, viewers will get a double dose of entertainment with brand new movies, ‘Ping Pong ki Circus’ starring Titoo, and ‘Mahavinashi ka Vinash’ featuring Chhota Bheem and his gang, on October 22 and 23, respectively.
As per a press release, Discovery Kids will amplify the celebrations with ‘Little Singham’ movies every day at 11:30 am from October 22, including the premiere of the mini-series ‘Mahabali Little Singham: Badhta Khatra’ and ‘Mahabali Little Singham: Mirchigad Par Hamla’ on October 22 and 30, respectively.
The channel will also premiere its new 3D tele-feature, ‘Legend of Shervansh’ for little fans on October 23 at 11:30 am.
Cartoon Network will bring ‘Teen Titans Go! Diwali Celebrations’ for kids to enjoy brand-new episodes of its popular superhero comedy series, ‘Teen Titans Go!’, starting on October 22, from 11:30 am onwards.
The channel’s festive season line-up will add a sparkle of exciting anime content with the premiere of ‘Digimon Adventure:’ in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on October 24 at 8 pm.
