TRAI OHD on new regulations for b’cast, cable on Sept 8

An Open House Discussion (OHD) on the Consultation Paper on “Issues related to New Regulatory Framework for Broadcasting and Cable services”, which was scheduled to be held in July 2022 has now been scheduled on September 8.

The OHD would be held via video conference and stakeholders have been invited by the regulator to register themselves.

This OHD is important as TRAI has proposed a new regulatory framework for the broadcast and cable sectors, keeping in view the changing landscape and evolving new technologies.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
