Sant Prasad joins ABP News as Senior VP, News, Production

Sant Prasad Rai has been appointed as Senior VP – News & Production, ABP News. He will be responsible for all content on ABP News, Sant Prasad will report to Rajiv Khandekar.

Khandekar has been elevated as EVP – News & Production, ABP News, and ABP Majha.

On the appointment, Avinash Pandey, CEO of ABP Network, said, “I am certain that his two and a half decades of experience will bring immense value to the channel to reach its desired milestones and goals.

“We thank Sumit Awasthi for his contributions as VP – News & Production for ABP News. He has led with courage. Sumit will continue as a lead anchor and will be in charge of the 8 pm slot on ABP News. He shall report to Sant Prasad Rai. We look forward to continuing to work with Sumit as a proud member of the ABP family.”

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
