Aaj Tak, the flagship Hindi news channel from the India Today Group, and veteran journalist Sudhir Chaudhary broke records with their new technology-driven interactive digital campaign.
Chaudhary had recently joined Aaj Tak as Consulting Editor after quitting his editor’s post at Zee Media sometime back.
According to a statement from Aaj Tak, the powerhouse combo had initiated the innovative user-driven campaign #AskSudhir, which proved to be a massive hit with over 3 lakh WhatsApp responses, 1.2 lac plus listens on Twitter Spaces, and 75,000 plus tweets.
As part of the campaign, Sudhir asked for ideas for his new show on Aaj Tak.
The campaign also trended for about six hours on social media during the day.
The special social media campaigns saw Aaj Tak viewers and lakhs of netizens participating on Twitter Spaces and engaging with the Chatbot campaign.
