Vi appoints Shailendra Singh as Operations Director

Vodafone Idea has appointed former Bharti Airtel executive Shailendra Singh as Operations Director.

Vi shared the news on their LinkedIn post, “We extend a warm welcome to you, Shailendra Singh, Looking forward to working with you and hope you enjoy a long, fruitful journey with us.”

Singh will be based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat in his new appointment.

Prior to joining Vodafone Idea, he was Airtel’s chief executive officer for the Uttar Pradesh, East & West region from March 2016 to May 2022.

He has also worked at Tata Teleservices as Head Mobile Business for Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, and MPCG Gujarat for the various period between 2009 and 2016.

Singh is a long-time Airtel executive and has worked at the Sunil Mittal-led telco for over 10 years.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
