The smiles were wide. The hugs were tighter (after months of keeping distances). The snacks tasted yummy-ier and the colours seemed to be more colourful. After all, it is almost after two years that the fest of colours is back for celebrations with more zest and bonhomie — even as the country takes baby steps towards normality and learning to live with the COVID virus.
The 25th Holi Ke Rang, Electronic Media Ke Sang, an initiative of the Aavishkar Media Group, made a return — after a break — to spread some cheer in the TV and video content industry even as invitees, comprising who’s who of the industry, turned up for the event held on Wednesday at the Press Club of India, Delhi.
The event was originally conceptualised to bring cable operators, MSOs, broadcasters and technology vendors together to celebrate India’s festival of colours that comes with the message of universal brotherhood and bonhomie —- no wonder they say with joy ‘bura na mano Holi hai’ (don’t mind, it’s Holi).
The event was supported by Dangal Tv and Enterr10.

After two years of the widespread pandemic, Aavishkar Media Group is inviting all the industry stakeholders to celebrate the festival of colours with joy and enthusiasm.
And, here’s wishing the whole entertainment industry a happy and colourful Holi. Play responsibly!
